This California Privacy Notice supplements the InsuraFAQ Privacy Policy and applies to California residents. KJS Media Inc. operates InsuraFAQ.

Categories of personal information

During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers and contact information; insurance-request and other information you provide; internet, device, and online-activity information; and communications, preferences, and consent records. The sources, business purposes, and categories of recipients are described in our Privacy Policy.

How we use and disclose personal information

We use and disclose personal information to operate and secure the Site, process insurance requests, connect consumers with insurance-related options, communicate about requests where permitted, measure advertising and Site performance, prevent fraud, and comply with law. We may disclose information to service providers, insurance marketplaces and potential recipients of a request, advertising and analytics providers, and parties as required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Your California privacy rights

Subject to applicable law and verification, California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and may request information about our privacy practices. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. To submit a request, email [email protected] with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” We may need information to verify the request before responding.

The Site’s separate Do Not Sell or Share request mechanism is operated through the Ad Services service. Once it is available, that mechanism will be the site’s method for submitting an opt-out of sale or sharing request. This notice does not replace that request mechanism.

Non-discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right, except as permitted by applicable law.
